Proline Golf Club Flex Measurement

Problem: Most golf club manufacturers do not have access to the expensive equipment and expertise required to measure a golf club’s performance and behavior during a golf swing.

Approach: AeroTech developed techniques and algorithms that can measure a clubs deflection and twist when it is swung. AeroTech has also developed a technique to measure the club’s head speed throughout the swing. This techniques requires simple off the shelf sensors.

  

Results: Algorithms were created and proof of concept tests were completed using the Portable Autonomous Measurement System (PAMMS).
